Role of Board of Directors:
The Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority is governed by a six-member Board of Directors, comprised of three Commissioners from the Port of Chelan County and three Commissioners from the Port of Douglas County. Each Commissioner is elected by the public to serve a six-year term.
Together, these elected officials are responsible for:
Representing the interests of the community
Establishing policies that guide the Port’s operations
Setting strategic direction and priorities
Defining both short- and long-term goals
Approving and overseeing the annual budget
Supporting organizational leadership and development
